The City has invested an average of $4 million per year over the past seven years to achieve this result.Īs outlined in the Completed K-14 Street Bond Project Map (PDF), the City has expended a total of $28 million in bond funds for maintenance and repair of 240 blocks, representing 60% of all local streets.Ĭurrent Measure K-14 Street Rehabilitation Projects The City has now completed 13 Measure K-14 projects to date with the 14 th project currently under construction and the 15 th project expected to start this winter. The importance of these improvements has been underscored by the City Council’s continued identification of street rehabilitation as one of the City’s Major City Goals. The City is now in the seventh year of the multi-year local street rehabilitation project funded by Measure K-14 which provides up to $48 million in bond funds for repair of residential streets over a 25-year period. On NovemGrover Beach voters approved Measure K-14, the Grover Beach Street Rehabilitation Safety Improvement Bond Measure.
